RamsayMedia digital publishing division represents the entire spectrum of RamsayMedia brands, with application across the desktop and mobile web, email and social media platforms.
We have an amazing opportunity for a new media specialist to head up this exciting division. Reporting to the managing director, in this Exco level position you'll have overall responsibility for the development, scoping and delivery of an integrated digital strategy to the RamsayMedia business, individualised to suit each brand's requirements and objectives - thereby ensuring that RamsayMedia continues to enjoy maximum revenue and brand growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Digital strategy:
Defining appropriate strategies for both group and individual brand applications

Digital business models:
Conducting research and analysis prior to project launch, defining these models and ensuring that the appropriate service level agreements / scoping requirements are defined and agreed

Digital business growth:
Translating audience development methodology into tangible advertiser benefits and revenue, supporting the advertising sales teams, delivering group digital deals.

Strategic partner / provider management:
Managing existing partnerships, extracting maximum business value from partnerships, concluding contract negotiations and service level agreements, agreeing terms and pricing structures, identifying and implementing content "barter" arrangements

Budget management:
Adhering to all financial systems, requirements and processes, managing divisional budgets and agreeing cost recovery and cost allocation models

Digital platforms and audience development methodologies:
Assessing platforms to determine best match for current and future requirements, briefing technology partners as to requirements, agreeing contracts and service level agreements, defining project plans for each project, obtaining key stakeholder approval for development work, ensuring successful delivery of new platforms and applications, conducting post installation reviews to determine system effectiveness and future customisation requirements

Reporting and analysis:
Tracking and allocating digital revenues, enhancing advertising sales results through the delivery of meaningful statistics and digital case studies, conducting ongoing data analysis and reporting back to Exco / Board / individual business teams on results

People management:
Team communication structures in place, performance and development discussions completed as required and development actions implemented

Project management:
Scoping, compilation of implementation plans, briefing of project partners and teams, overall management of project timelines, budgets and implementation processes

Requirements
• Tertiary qualification in a related field
• ICT / BI project management background advantageous
• 5 - 10 years related experience in digital management (all aspects)
• Ability to lead multi functional teams
• Ability to assess technology platforms
• Prior exposure to technical aspects of web development (back end), platforms, technologies
• Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering digital strategies to clients and business partners
• High levels of customer service orientation

Purple Cow is looking for an intermediate to senior media planner. The ideal candidate will have at least two to five years relevant experience working for a digital agency and or traditional agency.
This person will be reviewing all PCC's products and determining the best product fit for each individual client. Researching, presenting, planning, implementing and evaluating online strategies and opportunities for our clients.

You will also be responsible for the following:

Online media planning and buying for clients.
Ensure that the appropriate administration, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison are done in order for the campaigns to run smoothly.

Assistant Station Producer - 5FM (Johannesburg, Gauteng) posted 28July2010
Main purpose of the position:
To plan, manage and co-ordinate the technical and production requirements of high quality programmes that inform educate and entertain in-line with the station mandates.

Key accountabilities:

· To record and package certain programming elements as required by the Station which contribute to the overall station sound

· To create unique on-air promo's (in accordance with briefs) to ensure successful campaigns/competitions, and show exposure

· To generate all audio needed for weekly Music Research

· To download all elements supplied by third party suppliers as needed for specific programs

· To keep abreast of new production technology

· To ensure all competition and promotional audio are available in a suitable format in order to provide effective feedback to clients upon request

· To provide production that enhances station sound in accordance with Programming's set objectives and strategy

· Ensure that all sponsored production elements are updated and executed in accordance with sponsorship agreements

· Provide technical production support for on-air programmes in accordance with programme manager's instructions

Requirements:

· Relevant tertiary qualification

· Proven strong audio production experience

· Proven efficient and excellent command of ProTools 7 editing software

· Knowledge of other editing software i.e: Cubase, Logic, advantageous

· Good command of how to operate RCS/Linker broadcasting software within a production environment advantageous

· Efficient use of Apple computers
