Janet Davids, born in Gauteng South Africa, writes screenplays and TV scripts. Two new works are Ally Cats and a Rat - an animated story aimed at a young audience; and Mohammed - a poignant story of a muslim schoolboy who learns different lessons from his infatuation with a girl called Shakira.
